Dr. Dorian Lo

Dr. Dorian Lo, President, Express Scripts Canada

Dr. Dorian Lo is the President of Express Scripts Canada.

Dr. Dorian Lo brings more than 25 years of experience as a physician and visionary business leader to his role as President of Express Scripts Canada. As President, Dorian is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the organization as it looks to build on its position as Canada’s premier health benefit manager.

Dorian has a keen interest in bringing the best ideas from around the globe to the Canadian market to help solve some of the daunting challenges facing the Canadian health benefits industry.

Michael Roszak

Michael Roszak, Express Scripts Canada

Michael Roszak is the Chief Operating Officer.

Michael Roszak is a tried and tested leader in the area of health benefits management. He brings more than 25 years of industry experience to this role, where he oversees Operations, Customer Services, Marketing, Sales and Clinical Services.

Michael has extensive experience in senior roles within the Health Benefits Management and Digital Health industry, where he led major business development initiatives. His dynamic leadership style and proven track record of operating with transparency while maximizing long-term value for clients are among the most notable traits that make him a perfect fit for Express Scripts Canada’s executive team.

Michael holds an MBA from Queen’s University, a Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster, and a CPA-CMA designation.

Adil Ladha

Adil Ladha, Express Scripts Canada

Adil Ladha is the Director of Pharmacy Operations.

As a champion for patients of the Express Scripts Canada Pharmacy, Adil is responsible for delivering operational excellence within our pharmacies across Canada. Adil’s leadership style motivates his teams to achieve their full potential and embrace the needs of their patients so that they might build deeper relationships and help them meet their health and wellness goals. Adil is passionate about the added value that the Express Scripts Canada Pharmacy delivers to Canadians and how the service strikes the balance between plan member and plan sponsor needs. Ultimately, Adil is laser focused on the patient and will ensure they receive the right support at the right time.

Previously, Adil led pharmacy operations for a large Canadian retail pharmacy chain where he was responsible for the successful day-to-day management of several pharmacy locations.

Adil holds a Law degree from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree from the University of Toronto.

Christine Griffin

Christine Griffin, Express Scripts Canada

Christine Griffin is the Head of Strategic Accounts & Client Relations.

Christine Griffin directs Express Scripts Canada’s customer services team. She oversees existing accounts and explores new opportunities within those accounts to provide our clients with a full range of active pharmacy benefit solutions.

With close to 20 years of customer service and management experience, Christine has held a number of progressive positions within Express Scripts Canada. Her expertise in health benefit management, customer service and account management make her an asset to the organization and to the many clients she and her team serve.

Gregory Peres

Gregory Peres is the IT Director of Active Pharmacy and Data Strategy.

Gregory has over 20 years of experience in information technology with a specific focus in healthcare systems. His depth of knowledge in healthcare systems and broad experience in banking and finance, software, telecommunications and government health information systems gives him the ability to provide leadership in client and patient solutions, systems architecture and integration. Gregory’s particular interests and expertise are in helping healthcare organizations build better solutions and move faster and more safely with technology. His entrepreneurial spirit and drive for business process improvement are critical to the delivery of improved systems and solutions at Express Scripts Canada.

Jeff Boutilier

Jeff Boutilier, Express Scripts Canada

Jeff Boutilier is the General Manager, Pharmacy and Chief Clinical Officer at Express Scripts Canada.

As the General Manager Pharmacy and Chief Clinical Officer, Jeff is responsible for the management and direction of pharmacy across Canada. He provides leadership and direction for the strategic, ethical, operational, clinical, financial and administrative functions associated with all pharmacy services. Jeff is also responsible for the clinical team that leads formulary management, drug evaluation committees, and services such as prior authorization to support our partners. He stays abreast of any regulations and industry innovations as they develop to ensure the successful transformation of the Express Scripts Canada Pharmacy as it strives to provide cutting-edge pharmacy care for patients.

Jeff is a Pharmacist and brings more than 10 years of experience in pharmacy innovation and leadership to the role. Jeff has led national operations, sales and consultant teams and has experience in strategy, transformation and specialty pharmacy. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Dalhousie University, an Executive Masters in Business Administration from the University of Fredericton and is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. 

Jennifer Tran

Jennifer Tran, Express Scripts Canada

Jennifer Tran is the Director of Finance.

Contributing to Express Scripts Canada’s overall organizational success, Jennifer Tran effectively manages all financial functions, including management accounting and reporting, planning and budgeting, treasury, banking, corporate taxation management and the development and maintenance of internal controls. Jennifer’s eye for detail helps ensure the organization meets its financial obligations. By working effectively with other members of the senior management team, Jennifer plays an important contributing role in the development and delivery of Express Scripts Canada’s financial strategies and activities.

Joel Hluszko

Joel Hluszko, Express Scripts Canada

Joel Hluszko is the Director, Technology Services & Chief Security Officer.

Joel provides leadership for the continued development of an innovative, robust and secure information technology environment. He oversees the development of technology strategy and solutions. His team is responsible for infrastructure architecture, end-user services, production operations and security. Joel has a long record of successfully designing and implementing enterprise-grade information technology programs for real-time transaction processing environments in the healthcare and insurance industries. Joel’s client-focused vision, team-building and leadership skills play a key role in the development of new technologies and process improvements while maintaining the security of our systems.  

Karen Kesteris

Karen Kesteris, Express Scripts Canada

Karen Kesteris is the Chief Product Officer.

As Chief Product Officer, Karen Kesteris leads both the product development team and the data analytics group. Karen masterfully pulls these two areas together in order to build great products that create sustainable value for ESC, its clients and patients. She brings 20+ years of product development, marketing and leadership experience to the role, along with a strong specialization in healthcare, pharmacy benefit management and insurance.

Karen’s most recent experience prior to Express Scripts Canada came at Medavie Blue Cross, where she served as Director, Drug Product and Provider Management. In this role, Karen oversaw the full product life cycle and was responsible for driving innovation and strategy for both group and individual insurance products.

In her past roles, Karen was Director of Private Payer Solutions at Telus Health and Director of Marketing Communications and Product Development at Green Shield Canada. She holds a BA in Public Administration from the University of Guelph


Laura Blair

Laura Blair is the Director of Sales

Laura Blair brings more than 25 years of experience in attracting and retaining top accounts, maintaining strong relationships with clients and increasing sales and revenue to the newly created role of Director, Sales. In this role, Laura will develop and execute strategies in territory planning, prospecting and relationship development, proposal and pricing development, contract negotiations and be responsible for the Account Management team.  

Specializing in Group Insurance and Pharmacy Benefits Management, her expertise in implementing effective sales strategies, creating business growth opportunities and managing complex client relationships make her an asset to the organization.

A lifelong learner, her educational background is in Commerce and she also holds numerous certificates related to effective leadership, negotiations and project management.

Magda Vogel

Magda Vogel is the Chief Information Officer. 

Known for developing strategic vision to achieve business goals, Magda offers a unique blend of professional acumen and IT solutions development that deliver strong returns and operational improvement. Magda has built a strong and responsive information technology team that consistently delivers results by aligning technology initiatives with business objectives. As a certified and experienced project management practitioner, Magda enjoys leveraging her vast skillset in order to deliver project benefits that depend on the development, design and delivery of the change. Magda has a keen interest in the sociology of human change management that is contingent on people embracing, adopting and utilizing change.

Mary Johannesson

Mary Johannesson is the Senior Director, NIHB Contract Project Manager.

Mary Johannesson brings 25 years of group benefits experience and expertise to the development and co-ordination of operational strategies designed to improve Express Scripts Canada’s operational execution including its reliability, cost efficiencies, customer service and flexibility. Overseeing a large and highly skilled team, Mary’s energy and enthusiasm inspires commitment. As an active member of the group benefits community, Mary holds Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) and Health Insurance Associate (HIA) group insurance industry designations, has served on the FLMI Board of Directors and was the 2008 and 2009 LOMA Canada Group Benefits and Retirement Services Education Section Chair. Through her dedication, drive and positive attitude, Mary embodies the cornerstones of Express Scripts Canada’s approach to customer service: proactive, dependable, respectful and upbeat.

Mary Lou Kranyc

Mary Lou Kranyc is the Director of Operations - Adjudication Services.

Mary Lou brings over 20 years of experience that spans across many functional areas in the group benefits industry. Her varied background lends to her success in leading, supporting and directing operational activities related to Express Scripts Canada’s adjudication services. With a focus on building strong, diverse teams, Mary Lou is a dynamic leader to the Business Integrity, Provider Relations, Drug, Health Technologies Database and Claims Services departments at Express Scripts Canada. Always looking for ways to help her teams succeed, Mary Lou proactively monitors operational processes within these departments and has been instrumental in identifying process improvements, efficiencies and automation opportunities.

Michael Simpson

Michael Simpson, Express Scripts Canada

Michael Simpson is the Director of Application Delivery. 

Developing Express Scripts Canada’s client and patient systems, Michael combines more than 20 years experience in the fields of information technology, healthcare and business intelligence.

Over the past 12 years alone, Michael has focused on building and integrating solutions for hospitals, pharmacies, claims adjudicators and other health care service providers. In doing so, he has proven his ability to apply his extensive architecture and project management experience at the operational, tactical and strategic levels in order to creatively solve complex business problems and deliver value. Leveraging his extensive knowledge, vast industry experience and good judgment, Michael also lends his talent and charisma to the delivery of critical business strategies at Express Scripts Canada.

Pierre-Étienne Tremblay

Pierre-Étienne Tremblay, Express Scripts Canada

Pierre-Étienne Tremblay is the General Manager Québec & Chief Privacy Officer

Pierre-Etienne oversees the Quebec market and operations for Express Scripts Canada.

With his vast experience in contract management and negotiation, Pierre-Étienne provides strategic guidance and leadership within our pharmaceutical manufacturer relations teams. He also oversees operational strategic objectives and improves operational excellence while providing leadership in key functional areas such as: business integrity, provider and member contact centres, provider relations, health technology databases, and claim processing services for both private and public sector clients.

Concurrently, Pierre-Etienne serves as Chief Privacy Officer and oversees our Privacy Program.

Prior to joining the Express Scripts Canada team in 2006, Pierre-Étienne Tremblay gained invaluable experience working as a lawyer, and later – after attaining his MBA – holding various corporate leadership positions.

Stéphanie Myner-Nham

Stéphanie Myner-Nham, Express Scripts Canada

Stéphanie Myner-Nham is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Express Scripts Canada.

Responsible for the overall direction of Express Scripts Canada’s Human Resources and Corporate Services department, Stéphanie joined the company in 2009 and has advanced through several management positions over the last decade.

With over 20 years of progressive corporate experience covering cross-functional expertise, Stéphanie is well placed to lead Express Scripts Canada’s diverse and talented workforce towards an innovative future. Her many areas of oversight include organizational development, employee relations, change management, policy review, translation, talent planning, quality programs, and diversity and inclusion.

Stéphanie has spearheaded key developments at Express Scripts Canada, including successful implementation of a new employee recognition program, and developing a framework to ensure compliance with new provincial employment legislation.

A keen believer in the importance of continuing education and lifelong learning, in addition to her Honours BA in Mass Communications and French and diploma in Human Resources Management, Stéphanie has achieved several professional certifications, including a Certified Human Resources Leader designation and an HR Law certificate from Osgoode Hall Law School.


Vigna Vivekanand

Vigna Vivekanand, Express Scripts Canada

Vigna Vivekanand is the Chief Financial Officer.

As Chief Financial Officer, Vigna Vivekanand leads the finance team, and provides financial strategy and oversight across all facets of the organization. Prior to joining Express Scripts Canada, Vigna spent more than ten years at generic pharmaceutical manufacturer Apotex Inc., where he took on a progression of senior finance roles, culminating with that of Director, Global Generics Finance. Before that, he served as Co-Controller and Principal Accounting Officer at IMAX Corporation.

Vigna is a strategic thinker with proven leadership skills and deep understanding of both Canadian and U.S accounting standards. He also has extensive international experience in managing finance groups across the globe. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University of Toronto and is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Professional Accountant.


Warren Chau

Warren Chau is the Director of Business Development.

Leveraging his extensive project management, negotiation and client relations management expertise in retail pharmacy, Warren Chau is responsible for leading strategy development, planning, execution and reporting of the Business Development mandate to establish new market and product expansion, while ensuring all annual goals are achieved. Warren will identify and manage the key strategic partnerships required to support our vision to improve health outcomes and create value for our clients.

Previously, in his role as the Director of Pharma Relations, Warren was responsible for defining and executing our strategy, which focuses on establishing and managing strategic pharmaceutical relationships, so his expansion into this new role is a natural one.

Warren takes great pride in the relationships he has built and instills in his team the ethic of working collaboratively with key stakeholders to put patients first in order to achieve better health outcomes and reduce costs.
